Progress Diary - Planning what we aim to achieve in next weeks lessons.

We aim to;
- Take all the pictures for the dark room scene.
- Ask for permission to use the dark room and arrange a time period to shoot in this location.
- Begin filming some of the easier more conventional scenes, with the hand held camera. With an outside location, as the forecast looks promising.

Progress Diary - Assesing how the project is going so far.

We have completed our storyboard, audience research and the treatment. We have also decided on a soundtrack and the way the credits ( font etc) will be presented to the audience.
We are assessing possible changes to the way the stalker is represented. We may lack giving them a face to entice the audience and create a sense of mystery/suspense around their identity. This could be achieved by using POV shots and behind the head shots. We think this may be a more effective method, as we are giving less away and provoking the audience to question the character of the stalker.
We are also discussing using greyscale or monochrome shots in the editing process. This would communicate explicitly to the audience that the events of her stalking the character were previous to her arriving in England. It will also increase the credibility and sophisticaton of the piece.

73% of people said yes to this question. This is a benefit to us as our film revolves around a psychotic serial killer.

26% of people expect to be scared and 25% expect to be thrilled when watching a thriller movie. Our movie will be about a stalker therefore will thrill the audience as well as scare them.
